As a distant learner, it is sometimes difficult not to overwhelm myself by neglecting the fact that I am still in school. It is really easy to become disconnected and its something that I dislike. I did enjoy the flexibility it offered in regards to doing class on the go or traveling home. As a teacher, I could be considerate of the flexible lifestyle that distance learners may be expecting. Also understanding the impact of busy work on distance learners may discourage them from engaging. Open educational resources are resources that are free and accessible to everyone. They exists as digital mediums, media or openly licensed text. They are helpful for educational purposes, as well as to use for research.
